Codespark Academy

Codespark Academy

Codespark Academy introduces coding concepts to elementary age students.  Using a block based language, students gain experience using sequencing, loops, events, and conditionals and produce playable video games that can be shared with others.  Follow these directions to share your games with friends.

The Great Book Adventure

In the Great Book Adventure, 2nd grade students designed video games based upon scenes from their favorite stories and books.  At the end of the project, our 2nd graders extended the invitation to our 1st and 3rd grade students to design and share games of their choice. Click through slideshows below to access our game codes.
